Tuber Melanosporum du Tricastin Cru 2020, discover in Drôme the mysteries of the black diamond of Provence, in partnership with the Maison de la Truffe et du Tricastin.
Theophrastus (372-287 BC), the father of ancient botany, thought that truffles were "plants generated by autumn rains accompanied by thunderclaps". Today we know that truffles owe nothing to spontaneous generation, but they still remain very enigmatic...
The truffle and the diamond, whose name it sometimes borrows by becoming a "black diamond", share many mysteries. To discover one or the other, you have to dig in the earth, and if you are lucky, a dark tuber or an opaque gem will appear. Once worked with respect and passion, both will become ambassadors of gastronomic or jewellery refinement. During a stay at Mas Bella Cortis, come and discover the princess of our land. Learn about its history and origins before sharing a meal at our table d'hôtes where the black truffle will be the queen of the evening.
